He was born in San Francisco, California, in the United States. He died in Woodland Hills, California, in the United States.

He played Sam Picasso in The Addams Family original series episodes "Art and the Addams Family" and "Morticia, the Sculptress".
He also played Miri Haan in "The Addams Family Meet the VIPs", Professor Altshuler in "The Addams Family and the Spaceman" and Mikey Grimm in Halloween with the New Addams Family.
