History[]
In the 1600s, Goody Addams's mother and other outcasts were burned alive in the Original Pilgrim Meeting House by the normie supremacist Joseph Crackstone. Goody Addams, her psychic daughter, was able to escape the house so as to not meet the same fate. She later kills Joseph Crackstone and seals him in a tomb using a blood spell.
In the late 1980s, Gomez Addams met Morticia Frump while attending Nevermore Academy, and the two fell in love. In the 1990s, Gomez was asked by his friend Isaac Night for help to "cure" his sister, Francoise Night, of her hyde side. He agreed, not knowing that Isaac was intending to sacrifice Gomez's life for the experiment. Before this could happen, Morticia intervened and severed Isaac's hand, causing the experiment to fail and Isaac to be blown up and killed. The residual electrical charge brought Isaac's severed hand to life, and thus, Thing was born. Morticia and Gomez adopted the appendage and he became a member of the family.
Sometime before or after the Isaac incident, a normie named Garrett Gates, a descendant of Joseph Crackstone, was obsessed with Morticia. During the 1990 Rave'N, his father, Ansel Gates, ordered him to spike the punch with nightshade. During the dance, he flew into a rage seeing Morticia and Gomez together and attempted to kill Gomez. While sword fighting Gomez on the scaffolding, the bottle of nightshade broke in his pocket. Seeing Gomez starting to lose, Morticia grabbed a sword and drove it through Garrett; this caused Garrett to stumble backwards and fall off the balcony, where Larissa Weems witnessed his death.
In the early 2000s, Morticia and Gomez had two children, Wednesday and Pugsley Addams.
In 2022, Wednesday found Pugsley tied up in his locker at Nancy Reagan High School and had a vision of Dalton and his friends bullying him. During swim practice, Wednesday released piranhas upon Dalton and the rest of the team. She was expelled from school and was enrolled into Nevermore Academy. When she arrived at Nevermore Academy with her mother, father, brother, and Lurch, she met her mother's old roommate, Larissa Weems. She is told soon after that she would be living in Ophelia Hall, the same hall her mother used to live in.
