Socrates is Wednesday's pet octopus.
Biography[]
The Addams Family (2019)[]
Wednesday once squirted Socrates' ink into Pugsley's mouth while the family was eating.
Socrates jumps onto Uncle Fester during the attack on the Addams' home as boulders crash through the house. He is outside with Wednesday after she and Ichabod rescue the extended Addams and Frump families.
The Addams Family 2[]
During Wednesday's science fair, she used Socrates' DNA to enhance Uncle Fester and make him smarter. After her science fair, Socrates can be seen in a tank in her room.

Socrates is a small red octopus with yellow eyes.

When in conflict, Socrates shrank into the cup that he was in.
