Pandora's Box is the legendary container of all the evils of the world.

Wednesday Addams now possesses it. When she ran away from home she took it with her, and when a policeman found her she dared him to open it. She showed it to Sam while he was recuperating in The Addams Family Mansion. A bully at military school finds it while rummaging through her backpack. She uses it to help Grandmama pass the test for her witchcraft license.
