Trivia[]
- While many of the themes can be recognized from the music featured in the TV show, most of the tracks on this album are alternate versions not heard in the actual show. An exception is the track "Uncle Fester's Blues".
- The version of the main theme that opens the album is an instrumental version of the main credits theme. The final track is a version with lyrics, all of which are performed by Vic Mizzy, whose voice was duplicated to become a chorus. On this track, he also performs the spoken lines that are performed by Ted Cassidy as Lurch in the TV version.
- Track 10, "The Addams House," is the theme heard at the start of every episode during the establishing shot of the Addams Family mansion. However, the version on the album is livelier than the one heard in the series.
- "Gomez", "Morticia's Theme," and "Lurch's Theme" are often heard throughout the series in many different variations; unfortunately, none of these variations are the same as the album versions.
- "The Anxiety Tango" plays during "Green-Eyed Gomez", "Cousin Itt Visits the Addams Family", "Lurch and His Harpsichord", "Morticia's Favorite Charity" (briefly), "The Winning of Morticia Addams", "Feud in the Addams Family" and "Lurch Learns to Dance".
- "Uncle Fester's Blues" plays during "Lurch Learns to Dance", "Gomez, the Reluctant Lover", "Gomez, the Cat Burglar", "Portrait of Gomez", "Uncle Fester, Tycoon", "The Great Treasure Hunt", "Happy Birthday, Grandma Frump" "Morticia, the Decorator", "Ophelia Visits Morticia" "Lurch's Little Helper" and "Lurch's Grand Romance".
- "One, Little Two, Little Three Little Tombstones" is heard in "My Fair Cousin Itt" (briefly), "Christmas with the Addams Family", "Uncle Fester, Tycoon", "Morticia and Gomez vs. Fester and Grandmama", "Fester Goes on a Diet" (partly), "Ophelia Finds Romance" (only the first few notes), "Pugsley's Allowance" and "The Addams Policy".
- "Thing" is first heard in Morticia Meets Royalty when Lady Fingers is introduced. It also plays during "Morticia's Dilemma", "The Great Treasure Hunt", "Ophelia Finds Romance" and "Pugsley's Allowance".
- "Hide and Shriek" is briefly heard in "Morticia's Dilemma", "Fester Goes on a Diet" and "The Great Treasure Hunt".
- Track 8: "Laugh? I Thought I'd Die!" and 9: "On Shroud No. 9" are not heard in any of the episodes.
