Morticia gave Wednesday the necklace as a gift. Morticia states that it is made of obsidian, something that Aztec priests used to conjure visions. Morticia claimed it to be a symbol of her and Wednesday's connection.
Wednesday uses the necklace to attempt to contact Goody while performing her séance.
Goody uses the talisman to pass through Wednesday and heal her wound.
