My Son, the Chimp is the twenty-eighth episode of the first season of the original series of The Addams Family. It first aired 9 April 1965 on ABC.
Summary[]
The rest of The Addams Family are too busy to play with Pugsley, but an organ-grinder's stray chimp climbs in his bedroom window. Pugsley thinks Gorgo must have sent him. When Pugsley leaves to find Uncle Fester in the play room, the chimp puts on one of his shirts.
Fester is training himself in conjuration and causes a large explosion, sending Pugsley flying through a secret door and trapping him in a hidden room. When the chimp wanders into the play room, Fester believes his conjuration has transformed Pugsley.
