Melancholia Finds Romance is the 22nd episode of The New Addams Family. It is a remake of the original television series episode "Ophelia Finds Romance".

Summary[]

Cousin Melancholia and her new fiancee Digby arrive at The Addams Family Mansion but Uncle Fester is suspicious of Digby so spies on him. He overhears part of a conversation and surmises that Digby is a golddigger. He calls for a background check and finds that Digby Hanson has bilked many women out of their money.

Meanwhile, Digby gets to know the family and doesn't flinch at any of their ookiness. He even opts for two of Wednesday's dares during Truth or Dare, and enjoys them. But he turns out to be Digby Henson, the second richest man in the world, not a crook. However, he drinks some truth serum and reveals that he was only playing along with the Melancholia's ooky interests, so she dumps him.
