Katie Haskell is a teacher of Pugsley Addams.
Pugsley developed a crush on Miss Haskell, and copied one of his father's old love letters to send to her. When Miss Haskell visited the Addams mansion and learned the letter was actually written by Gomez and was told that "Morticia was in a coffin in the morgue", she assumed Mr. Addams was a widdower and had fallen in love with her. Morticia and Grandmama encouraged Gomez to pretend to love Miss Dunbar, so that she could catch them and act spurned.
When Mr. Mason, the principal at Miss Dunbar's school arrived at the Addams house, he became attracted to Miss Dunbar now that she had let her hair down and taken off her glasses. Both of them ended up falling down the trap door located at the top of the stairs in the Mansion hall. Some time later, Pugsley informed his relatives he no longer had a crush on Miss Haskell, as she was going to marry Mr. Mason.[1]
