James Flavin (14 May 1906 - 23 April 1976) was an American character actor. His career lasted for nearly half a century.
He went on to appear in hundreds movies such as King Kong (1933) as Second Mate Briggs, I Promise to Pay (1937), The Grapes of Wrath (1940), Mighty Joe Young (1949), In Cold Blood (1967), and The Barefoot Executive (1971). He also appeared in countless television series as a regular in shows including Navy Log, State Trooper, The Untouchables, Mister Ed, and It Takes a Thief.
