Gomez Addams is the father of Wednesday, Pugsley, and Pubert Addams, and the husband of Morticia Addams.
He is portrayed by Raul Julia in the 1991 and 1993 films The Addams Family and Addams Family Values. Daniel Pikus portrays him as a teen, and Jimmy Ross portrays him as a pre-teen.

He enjoys cigars and has been smoking them ever since he was five years old (his mother insisted), and is an accomplished juggler and knife thrower. His favorite dance is The Freddy.
Gomez and Fester were close and inseparable brothers, from games and pranks to the most "vile" pranks imaginable.
Sometime later, 25 years ago, he had an argument with Fester that caused the latter to leave the house.
The last thing he heard of his brother was that he had disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle, and he has been awaiting his return ever since (even maintaining the tradition of throwing hot water on carolers).

Description[]
Gomez is of Castilian extraction and almost always dresses in a chalk-striped, dark-colored suit and a bow tie, sports slicked-back hair, and sports a pencil-thin mustache.
Personality[]
He loves smoking cigars, sword fighting, and trainwrecks. He is fun loving and suave.
Gomez also regularly plays chess with Thing and enjoys hitting golf balls from the roof of his house, enraging his next-door neighbor, who has to contend with the balls smashing his windows. When the Alfords throw them out of their own home, Gomez gets so depressed that he spends all day watching daytime TV.
When he is depressed he can sink to a very low level, like when he felt Fester's betrayal in the two films and Pubert's illness.

Morticia and Gomez have an infatuation with one another that borders on obsession. Their love is passionate, fierce, and unbreaking. They constantly engage in public displays of affection without a regard for anyone else. They have children together - Pugsley, Wednesday, and in Addams Family Values, Pubert Addams.
