Ginger was a pen-pal (via E-Mail) of Uncle Fester's who resided in jail. After she managed to escaped, she headded to the Addams house to meet Fester, who had described himself as looking like George Clooney and being a triathlete.
Fester agreed to be wed to Ginger, and just as the ceremony was about to start, several policemen barged in, looking for Ginger. She was glad to go back to jail rather than becoming Fester's wife.
