Eyde Byrde (19 January 1929 - 6 May 1999) was an American actress. She is known for Doc Hollywood and Hell Comes to Frogtown. She also appeared in television shows such as:
- The Jeffersons - in the 1979 episode "Louise's Reunion"
- Law & Order - in the 1990 episode "Prisoner of Love"
- Working Girl as Libby Wentworth
- The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - in the 1993 episode "Just Say Yo" as Irene
- Sister, Sister - in the 1995 episode "I Do?" as Winnie
- ER - in the 1996 episode "Dead of Winter" as Grandma Proulx
- Murphy Brown - in the 1997 episode "When One Door Closes..."
She was married to internationally famed jazz musician Jimmy Butts until his death in 1998. She died the following year after battling breast cancer.
