Delilah Addams is the great-grandmother of Wednesday, Pugsley and Pubert Addams, the grandmother of Gomez Addams, Uncle Fester, Pancho Addams, and Cosimo Addams, and the first wife of Mortimer Addams.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Not much is known about her life, except that it's possible that her maiden name might have been Squint as Gomez referred to a Grandpa Squint and a Grandma Squint. It is possible, then, that she is their daughter, and might be related to Aunt Vendetta (whether she's her sister or her aunt), as Gomez and Morticia talk about how Grandpa Squint and Aunt Vendetta would have gotten such a thrill from Fester getting married if they were still alive (prompting Gomez to check the attic to see if they were)[1] [2]. Grandma Squint was also said to have inhabited the attic was known to cackle during dark and stormy nights [3].
At some point, she married Mortimer Addams and had several children, two of them being Father Addams and Millicent von Schlepp.
Later life[]
When Father Addams married Grandmama, Mortimer and Delilah became the paternal grandparents of Gomez Addams, Uncle Fester, Pancho Addams, and Uncle Cosimo, and when Gomez married Morticia Addams, they became the paternal great-grandparents of Wednesday Addams, Pugsley Addams, and Pubert Addams.
They visited The Addams Family Mansion after visiting the old country (during a smallpox epidemic) and brought gifts for their great-grandchildren. They showed signs of having Waltzheimer's disease and became pleasant old people, much to the horror of the family. After spending some time with the Adams family relatives (having mistaken it for the Addams family reunion), both ended up being left with Dolores Adams' family. It can be presumed that they recovered after this.
Later on, Delilah died while roller-blading with her headphones on and didn't hear a Mack truck coming. Grandpapa visits Delilah's marble crypt, which he keeps in his basement, every day.[4]
Description[]
She wears a wig and therefore might have passed down the baldness gene that Father Addams and Uncle Fester had.[5]
Personality[]
Great-Grandmama Delilah was a cheerful and dotty old woman who doted and spoiled on her family. She loved her grandsons Gomez and Fester and loved her great-grandchildren Wednesday and Pugsley as well, calling them 'pale and misbehaved'.
She and her husband became ill with the Waltzheimer's disease, which turned them into 'pleasant' old people much to the horror of the family.

Relationships[]
Grandmama/Granny Frump[]
Delilah's relationship with her daughter-in-law (or her granddaughter-in-law's mother) seems cordial enough, as she and her husband both enjoyed her cooking. Mortimer seems to have had a closer relationship with her, but it can be assumed that Delilah was just as fond of her. Both seem to enjoy cooking, but of course, Delilah was cooking something 'pleasant' due to her Waltzheimer's disease while Granny was cooking up her usual macabre brews.
