Plot Summary[]

Wednesday and Pugsley's are depressed by the sunny weather. They are assigned a "creative problem solving through junior career exploration" project in school. Gomez returns from a stay at a bad hotel and suggests they turn the Addams home into a dead and breakfast. Wednesday and Pugsley are reluctant to start the project but do not want to let down their parents. After the hotel's opening, trouble starts. Not only is Norman Normanmeyer determined to ruin their business, but the Addamses receive a visit from a health inspector, who is courted by Granny. They also have a guest, Mrs. Quaint, who sets her eyes on the family fortune. Wednesday and Pugsley eventually use booby traps to capture the woman, who is wanted in eight states for hotel burglary, thereby solving a problem creatively.

Trivia[]

  • Mrs. Quaint is pretty similar to Debbie Jellinsky from Addams Family Values; both were wanted for previous crimes and after the family fortune, and both held the family hostage. One big difference is that she does not marry or have any interest in Fester, and Fester has no interest in her. As a matter of fact, Fester (unlike with Debbie) was the one who was able to figure out her true intentions. and Mrs. Quaint does not die but is instead arrested.
  • N.J.'s project is selling "underpops."

Family Dance[]

  • The South Idaho Tongue Pull
  • The Face Slide
