David Harrison Levi III (2 January 1913 - 25 January 2000), better known as David Levy, was an American writer and producer. He was the vice president for programming at NBC beginning in 1959 but left in the 1960s. He also participated in activism involving giving shows featuring inappropriate topics stricter ratings.[1]

Levy passed away after a lengthy illness on 25 January 2000, at his residence in Beverly Hills, California. He was 87 years old.[1]
