Beatrice "Bebe" Neuwirth (born 31 December 1958) is an American actress. She originated the role of Morticia in The Addams Family: A New Musical on Broadway.
Biography[]
She is perhaps best known for her role as Dr. Lilith Sternin, the wife of Dr. Frasier Crane, on the TV sitcoms Cheers and Frasier, for which she won two Emmy Awards. On stage, she won Tony Awards as Nickie in the revival of Sweet Charity (1986), and Velma Kelly in the revival of Chicago (1996). She was the voice of Sylvia Marpole in An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000).
