Gomez & Morticia now seem to work at Nevermore.
Enid has a new Hairdo.
Pugsley is a Nevermore Student.
My best guess is a throaway line from someone in the first episode (probably Enid or maybe even Wednesday delivering exposition to the audience) saying 'Oh, did you hear? Xavier had to go on some last minute family trip thing' and that will be why he's not in Nevermore.
It'll be pretty weird to see a new actor acting as if he's been with the cast for the whole time when they've not.

Since Wednesday is supposed to be the Next Stranger Things. I think it would make perfect sense if there would be a Book Series that ties into the Show. I mean Stranger Things has a Book Series which currently consists of 5 Novels, each one focusing on a different character. I think the Wednesday Book Series could have a novel about how Bianca escaped the Morning Song cult, a Novel about Laurel’s Life between the faking of her death and her return to Jericho to get Revenge, about Xavier’s life at home and his relationship with his family, about Tyler and before his Hyde was unlocked.
I’ve seen several people on the Internet theorizing that Pugsley’s power would be Pyrokinesis, because of his love for explosives, but personally I don’t see Pugsley being a Pyrokenetic, because his love for love for explosives is just one aspect of his character. There’s also his intelligence, his affinity for making potions using a chemistry lab and his huge appetite. I personally can picture Pugsley being a Technopath, someone who can control Technology with his mind and the reason why he hasn’t uncovered this ability yet is because his Family isn’t really interested in Technology.
When Wednesday told Weems that she was born on Friday The 13th, she was being sarcastic, because her birthday was celebrated in November and the personality of people who were born on November 13 matches Wednesday perfectly.
Gomez and Morticia would definitely do Pepa and Felix’ Line. Enid would do Dolores’ line, because she is into Gossip, but I’m not sure who would do Camilo, The Townsfolk and Isabela.
It has been reported in the press that an agreement has been reached to resolve the writers' strike - the agreement will need to be voted on by the members, but it appears likely that the writers' strike is on the verge of ending.
This leaves the actors' strike, but with the writers' strike resolved, I suspect that the actors will reach a settlement within just a few weeks.
So, the question then becomes - how long until they can start filming season 2?
Without any information and lots of speculation from producers and cast, what would be the role of Larissa and Laurel if they’re actually bring back in season 2 ? And what about Tyler ? Do you think he’s still a villain ? Or there’s a chance that he might repent ?
As season 1 ended, Wednesday got a text message from an unknown source. It contained several stalker photos of her, plus a threatening cartoon.
Who is the stalker?
I do not think it is Laurel Gates- she is either dead or in prison at the end of season 1. Nevertheless, Laurel had several photos in her music box that seem to likely have been made by the same person - so there was someone else working with Laurel Gates.
But who? I think we can eliminate people seen with Wednesday in the photos, so that takes out Xavier.
Any ideas?
At the End of the Season the villain reveals their identity with the following quote:
”And to mark this occasion we’ve planned a special tribute to the most powerful outcast ever to walk the halls of Nevermore ME.”
(EXTRACT)
...across from her? Two meters and twenty stone of muscle and unresolved Oedipal ennui, the attendant resembled nothing less than several Polish kielbasas mashed together and forced to don hospital scrubs. The most cursory of assessments, by any measure of the imagination, would easily conclude that this man could almost certainly crush Viper's skull with the ease of a child popping a cherry tomato. Though between the constellation of burst blood vessels around his eyes and jowls, or the faint but unmistakably cirrhotic odor on his breath - most of which emanated from his mouth, of course - Viper estimated that the man's predisposition for cinnamon schnapps and lard-braised pork shoulder would send him to an early grave within the year.
And only then did Viper remind herself that in fact she did pose a threat... at least on paper, and at least according to the “professionals” so appointed by the court. Indeed, if one were to place any stock in the opinions of the teams of criminal psychologists and "mental health experts" hand-selected by the Macon County District Attorney's Office, not only was Viper clinically insane, but she posed a grave threat to society.
Escape was her only option. Viper was an admirer of the master escapologist, Harry Houdini and had also watched the Steve McQueen classic "The Great Escape" on at least a dozen occasions. It was only one of three films that her Uncle Julius' kept in his 35mm collection. He had a screening room in his Hollywood Hills mansion. It was rumored that the decrepit pile had once belonged to Elsa Lancaster, the original Bride of Frankenstein. The house was modeled after the Alhambra, entangled with purple-hued bougainvillea and boasted enviable Jetliner views of the City of Angels. Viper was not a fan of Los Angeles or any West Coast city for that matter. But she did love her Uncle and would sit for hours listening to his stories of the Golden Age of Hollywood. If she managed to escape, she determined that she would seek temporary sanctuary with him. As a fellow black sheep, Julius was the only member of her labyrinthine family who would understand the precarious nature of her current predicament.
I have gotten interested in trying to establish some sort of timeline for events in Wednesday.
The show clearly is not like "Stranger Things", where enough clues exist to construct elaborate and detailed timelines (sometime down to the hour).
But, here is what I have so far:
Episode 1 - Harvest festival occurs. This would indicate a time frame of around September/October.
Episode 2 - The first scenes are the morning after Rowan's murder, i.e.one day after the Harvest Festival. It is not clear how many day elapse between this event and the Poe Cup but the fact that it is warm enough for people to be canoeing/falling in would suggest that it is still September/October and not November/December.
Episode 3 - Ourteach Day - I recall no particular evidence in that episode. Anybody recall any evidence/clues in the episode?
Episode 4 - the Rave'n. Other than it happens on a weekend, I recall nothing that shows a time frame. Dialogue of Lucas with his buddies indicates it is not too long after Outreach Day. Likewise, Enid is still upset at Ajax for not showing up for their date, which indicates not much time has passed.
Episode 5 - Parents Weekend. Enid made a remark to Wednesday that there had been no further attacks since the attack on Eugene, which was a week (?) before. So maybe Parents' Weekend was one week after the Rave'n.''
The faked suicide/murder of the coroner also indicates that this episode is very soon after episode 4, since the coroner was saying he was about to retire.
Episode 6-- Unusual in that it is not tied to an "event". Lucas is doing community service at Nevermore, which suggests it is pretty soon after the Parents Weekend.
Episode 7 - Since Mayor Walker was murdered in the last scene of episode 6, and the first scene of episode 7 is his funeral, we can say that (probably) several days have passed. Fester seems to spend a couple of days hanging out with Wednesday.
Episode 8. All major events seem to happen in about 24 hours, with an epilogue at some later.
Putting this all together - It seems that all of the events happen in perhaps 4-5 weeks., starting sometime in September/October and ending in October or perhaps early November. The dialogue at the end states that the school is going to be closed for the rest of the semester - does that mean that the school will resume classes in January?
Could season 2 be set in about January, perhaps 2 months or so after the last events of season 1?
Based on how gorgons are taught to socialize, do you think Kayla Nobyen is a gorgon?
I rewatched episode 5, and in the yearbook, Kathryn Parks said that she would become a dentist and that Stanford or Yale would be "impressed with my gigantic collection of teeth that I have sourced over the years from beneath children's pillows."
Do you think there's going to be a sandman type of outcast?
When do you think season two is coming out?
I'm guessing with the writers and actors strike, we won't be seeing season two until late 2024/2025.
