At the end of season 1, they said Nevermore would be closed "for the rest of the term". We don't really know what they mean by "the rest of the term" but I assume that season 2 will begin at the start of the next term/next school year at Nevermore.

Do you think Morningsong (the cult) will eventually tie in to the sinister Laurel Gates/Tyler Galpin plot? It seems unlikely to me that the Morningsong/Bianca storyline was included in season 1 but will never be a part of the main story.

I have long thought that Pugsley would end up at Nevermore, and that either Gomez or Morticia (or both) would end up there too.
Good question! We have reason to believe that Tyler will be back (which means the Hyde will be back) but beyond that there has not been one single hint from the production company

(and no telling what ethnicity those faceless outcasts have!)
Did you know that these two actors are listed on IMDB.com has having gotten married in June 2022, and they now have a child?
IMDb has a couple of interesting tidbits:
(1) There will be a studio teacher - the only case members young enough to require a studio teacher are Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley) who is age 15 and Evie Templeton. This would suggest that Evie will have a significant role (i.e. she won't just be on set for a few days) and Ordonez might possibly have a bigger role.
(2) The crew includes an armourer. An armourer is responsible for weapons on the set. Therefore,there will be weapons involved.
(3) Fred Armisen _ Uncle Fester - is now listed as appearing in episode 1 (this is the only episode he is - so far- credited as appearing in)
(4) Christina Ricci (Ms Thornhill) is listed as appearing in episode 1
(5) Heather Matarazzo (no relation to Gaten Matarazzo) is listed as appearing in episode 1 - no role identified.
(6) Hunter Doohan (Tyler) is listed as appearing in episode 1
(7) Subsequent episode cast lists suggest Morticia, Gomez, and Pugsley will be in every episode (cast lists are only up through episode 6, however)
(8) Joanne Lumley (grandma) is only credited for one episode so far.
@No0n4m3S - True, but compared to the level of "hints" we are getting from the notoriously secretive Stranger Things crew, the level of silence from the Wednesday crew is absolutely overwhelming.
ST5 has (in comparison) released a number of photos, plus there has been info from the paparazzi about where they have been filming. But Wednesday seems to be utterly a black hole of silence. Has anything come out at all?

@Livey4life - if you are having trouble spelling the names of an actor or a character, go to imdb.com and search for the tv show "Wednesday". it will have all the actors and characters listed and you can copy the spelling
When asked if she would return in Wednesday season 2, Christina Ricci told Entertainment Tonight "I don't think I am allowed to say."
In my experience, IMDB has been a fairly good/reasonably accurate source of information on upcoming Netflix shows.
The cast list for season 2, expisode 1 now lists Christina Ricci as appearing in the role of Marilyn Thornhill.
Steve Buscemi, who was recently announced to have joined the cast of Wednesday, was the victim of a mugging in NYC yesterday that has left him injured.
I do not know the extent of his injuries or whether (or for how long) he will have to postpone filming while he recovers.
@No0n4m3S - Ok, I have seen the cast photo - It clearly is the younger Noah Taylor
But the cast photo contains other interesting info-- it shows the window in Wednesday/Enid's dorm room in the background.
With the relocation of filming to Ireland it has been speculated that the location for the events of season 2 would NOT be Nevermore Academy. However, the picture of that distinctive window seems to leave little doubt that school will be back in session at Nevermore. Perhaps they will use stock footage for the exterior.
@No0n4m3S - Theory - we have a lot of new actors born about the same time frame - about 1980.- Could these people be playing some sort of contemporaries of Gomez and Morticia, i.e. classmates from the 1990's - who are now involved in some present day mystery that harks back to the 1990's?
I could be either Noah Taylor, based on the info I have seen!
We have new names there!! Could Dr. Fairburn be a new therapist? Evie Templeton will likely play a new Nevermore student (based on her age). The same is likely true of Owen Painter. Noah Taylor is about 50 so he cannot play a student. Frances O'Connor, Heather Matarazzo, Haley Joel Osment, all all adults. joonas Suotamo is from Finland and he is about 40 - about the youngest of the new adults to join the case.
